Default Peak Vantage Touring 12x2

Hi guys,
I just bought Peak Vantage Touring 12x2.
I have question regarding it that I was hoping you could answer.

1. What is the difference between Touring, Surikarn, Spashett and standard motor ?
2. How stiff is the original spring that comes with the motor ?
3. What type of brushes do come in motor when new ?
4. How many degrees is between the lines on the can ?
5. What is the basic recommended timing on the motor (forward only ESC) ?

These are the questions, plz comment.

Best regards and have a nice day

Hello,

The answer to your questions are:

#1
Different armatures and brushes, Touring comes with Enduro Brushes while the Surikarn and Spashett comes with Sprints.
Surikarn and Spashett motors has more power and less runtime.
Spashett motors has sleeves milled down in the armature for even more power!

#2
I think Medium or Medium/Hard comes with the motors.

One line is about 6deg.

#5
For a 12turn I would use 24deg.

Best Regards,

Thank you for the info.
Can you tell me about characteristics of each spring stiffness.
f.exp. what is gained, and ewhat is lost by using soft springs instead of hard.

Ans also what is the main difference between enduro and sprint brushes ?

Thank you

A harder spring will give more bottom end power, a softer spring will give a litle more top speed and more runtime.
A too soft spring will give you less of everything!!

On my 12t I always use Hard on Positive and Medium/Hard on Negative.

Sprints have more power than Enduro!!
