Hey guys i have a question possibly answered before but where is the best battery/electronics position when using a shorty lipo on this type of car??have just made the switch from the standard lipo to the shorty as my car was way overweight.

It all depends on the size of your electronics. I have a Tekin RS and a Spektrum SR3500 and both fit nicely behind the battery and I still have about an inch to move the battery forward for more steering. I leave the PT on the servo/battery support with velcro.

yes they fit was mainly wondering am i better to have battery right back to electronics or forward on a low traction track??

I'm running my battery all the way forward, helps reduce traction rolling.

oh we dont have that issue here we dont use tyre compounds:')

Having trouble finding the post where someone was offering up TCS legal hex screw sets. Not sure if it was here or the general F1 thread..

Anyone have it saved or able to direct me to it?

I am building a kit and have no experience, any answers will be appreciated. First i plan on running rubber tyre where should i set the rear axel, i put the 3 adjuster making the car the lowest. Second question is the spur gear, the car comes with a 93 is that what most people run?

It will all depend on the track your running, carpet or asphalt? We run carpet in Dallas and usually run about a 4.5mm ride height. Most of us are running an 88t spur. I would suggest the pit shimizu tires as they seem to be the most popular unless you run a spec tire at your club. Again the track will sort of determine the tire set.

Are the Pardus tire sets similar to the Pit 572/571 compounds?

A guy at our track tested the yesterday at our carpet track. He said they required a different setup to make them run close to the pits. He said the were only a few tenths off the pits pace, but the wheels were not as sturdy as the tamiya wheels we use with te pits.
