For anyone running the trf shock, what are you using for limiters, or how are you shortening droop?

I'm using those black O-rings or alu spacers for the desired droop.

I guess it can't hurt anything though

And if done right, a glassy glued edge does look tight

Evidently I'm not capable of figuring out how to get my trf damper mounted properly. My issue is I have the droop set where I would like it, but there's too much tension on the spring and I end up with a 5mm ride height where as the rear pod is at 4 and the front is at 4. I was using the long ball end with around 4mm of limiting mounted on the far holes of the middle shock mount. What am I doing wrong?

That is how it is currently setup. Obviously the wiring isn't done.

At least yours is running and driving and I'm sitting at home thinking about how to make a shock work. Lol

I'm not sure what you mean about droop and ride height. You adjust the ride height with the spacers and bearing holders in the rear.

You adjust the droop by moving the shock to achieve the droop you desire in the rear. From your picture it looks like you have the shock mounted in the stock position and not in the rearward position shown in the manual (page 13), this can account for your droop problem. Measure the stock shock and the TRF and if the TRF is shorter then use the manual's alternate position.

Looks like you need a shorter ball cup to let the spring retainer come down just about 1mmor more to give you some adjustability.

I'm still fairly new to this car and using the stock oil dampeners. What is the benefit of upgrading to the TRF ones?
