I never thought I'd drive an AE car once I got rid of the TC3 a couple years back but the T4 is dialed at the off road track we have down here and I couldn't get the MF2 to handle or not blow out the diff every couple runs. I'm not a big off road guy anymore. Maybe once every two months or so.

Just a comment about the power wire layout; As you might have noticed, the red plus wire uses the same soldering post on the ESC. That means that the ESC regulate only on the negative side, the plus goes straight through.

The ESC only needs the plus as a reference point and to internal powering + RX/servo power. In other words, the ESC only draws very low amp on the plus side

So....

If you flipped the battery around and get the plus pole close to the motor, you could have a much shorter red wire from the battery plus to the motor plus. Then solder a red wire from the motor plus to the ESC plus.

The negative wires, just leave it as is, I tend to say the wires will have the same length as for now.

I dont know how much more speed it'll give, but it's worth a try

Oh, and about graphite: Usually there's more to earn throgh driving style, than through nice graphite. But then again, you might be a much better driver than me
