Default Need help identifying old Kyosho chassis

I have what I think is an old Kyosho TC. Was cleaning up the garage and found it, pretty sure it used to be an old friend of mine's car and I know nothing about it. Has a carbon fiber chassis and aluminum top deck, and missing front dogbones, diff, and belt. Any help much appreciated!

Thanks! I've been busy since I posted here, but out of curiosity, what would this be worth once all cleaned up/gone over? I have plenty of touring cars already, including some vintage HPI stuff, so I don't really need to restore this and have it sit on my shelf. I've looked up some stuff for this car and have only found the dogbones and front belt, each for around 30 bucks. Haven't found a front diff or original shocks, though I'm sure I could use other shocks.

Kyosho TF-2.... think they called it "special addition".... I know somebody that has one. Was between the tf-2 (alum chassis) and the full race TF-2R.

What are you looking to get for it?

I honestly don't know if this car was bought with all parts currently on it, or if it has been upgraded (as in replaced chassis or top deck). Car seems to not have been run that much, minor scrapes on bottom chassis, but almost all the steel parts have rusted over the surface. I will go over the bearings and try to remove the corrosion as much as possible on the other parts. I think this could be worth at least $40?

Just for interest's sake, I wonder how you arrived at that number?

Most carbon fiber chassis' I see sell for around 20-30 bucks for my vintage HPIs, new are 30-40. Just a ballpark. I know the condition it looks in the pic, but all plastic parts are like new, with lots of spider webs and lint of course. What's left of the drivetrain is still smooth, diff still has grease too. Like I said, 40 is just a guess. Thanks for the help!
