How long will the Tamiya 415MS

Hi,

Was looking to purchase the 415MS, but the only thing leaving in doubt is the life of the 415MS.... looking at the way Tamiya producing cars every so often.... I hv little confidence.....

Does anyone know how long its shelf life ??

Cheers! :)

The 415 MS is limited edition and will probably stop production soon (if not already). It will certainly be replaced within the year by a new variant or possibly a 416.

However, that doesn't mean the car will only be good for a year.

Whatever or when the new car comes out it will retain the LW suspension

Is Tamiya's support of cars good, do they still make spare parts for them after they've stopped selling the cars that is? How long does Tamiaya typically support a specific model? Thanks!

I'm just not sure if anyone can say for sure what the new car will have, a lot can change in a year... could even go to the DJ suspension.

TOA4, evo3, 414, 415 suspension parts have been aound for along.

415ms, evo4 LW sus. will be aound just as long, the molding cast are too costly to do every year, I think they should make the LW Suspension out the stock 415 graphite material, those arms are the strongiest of any touring car, better axle bearings
