This is stuff the matchers do not want us to know about. I just bought some unmatched GP300's and at 20 Amps last night cycled at 7.24V for average discharge. 34.94 shipped with battery bars.

I to have some Peak power flow with 1.198 numbers on them. I paid 75 for them. They cycle out at 7.13V for average.

Both packs were charged at 6 amps and discharged at 20 amps at a 5.4 cutoff.

Unless something happes I will only buy unmatched cells now.

BTW the first pck was the newer GP cells.

SMC only uses the latest IB3600 cells.

For those who are looking for good matched GP3300 packs at a good price try our GP3306E packs or our 3506P packs. These cells have good specs at a competitive price and they are matched.

UPS just got here with mine Danny. 370+ and 1.169 (35 Amp) - at about $10 per cell. Just can't go wrong!

Let me know how they run. Josh Cyrul mentioned that the first run wasn't the best run on them so please use them a few times and give us your opinion.

7.24 volts at 20 amps is a 1.20 pack.. you just bought a average pack.. at an average price. a good pack would be 7.44 or better at 20 amps...

actually you couldnt be more wrong... when yoyu buy a mayched pack, you know what you are getting... when you buy an unmatched pack, it is very possible to get a good pack...

even though a pack cycles out at good numbers, doesnt mean it will run as good as a matched pack with the same numbers... all cells discharge differently.. the purpose of the match to to get them as equal as possible...

Danny..
The Intellect cell really starts to shine after about 5 cycles on the packs.. so far I have tried 3 different makers 3600s and they seem to perform the same as the following
1st charge) WOW!!! Punch
2nd charge)4min lots of punch but large drop off after that
3rd charge)Punch still there but run time seems to be the same
4th charge)Punch and power starts to come back
5th charge)WOW!! much better than the 1st run.. and lower overall voltage than the 1st time charging and the pack is now taking close to 4400 on my GFX

Man I love this cell
-Dave

$23 a pack.. thats pretty good for practice packs.

JDM: Thanks for the info. Have you been doing anything special to them ? Like traying or different peak detects.

Yea Danny I was going to ask you what is the recommended peak cut off rate for both the 3300's and the 3600's?
Thanks,
Stephen <><

For the GP we use .03-.05 depending on the temperature. If it's cool use .05 and if it's warm use .03.

For the IB so far we have used the same as GP. As we find out more we will keep racers posted.

Thats per cell right?
one of mine only goes down to 10, the other two go down to 3 so I how do I get that to work.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

That is for the entire pack so if you use a charger that uses decimals like CE then it's .03-.05 for the entire pack.

If your charger uses mV then it's 30-50 mV for the entire pack or 5mV - 8mV per cell.
