I think you guys forgot that there are 4 more turns you are not counting on the outer oval.

Oh I saw that. I think it isnt bad, just could use a few switchbacks or some other stuff. Kinda like this. Although Im sure the racers down there won't have many complaints. The ones that do...well ya can't please everybody

If Boylan or Ken Holmes are reading this...can you do something about the on road layout? Running the full oval is not so cool. I know this is an oval race but at least half the entries are on road and 90% of the press coverage goes to the On Road racing. The old lay out was better than this.
Come on Snowbirds people. That road course layout is pathetic. You have drivers coming in from all over the globe to race on a good road course, not around the perimeter of your oval. You should be ashamed.

you have to consider that they have to switch from oval to on-road in a quick fashion. becides, how many full-scale drivers complain abotu Daytona when they run the 24 hour race, considering that uses much of the oval!!!

seeing that layout, only thing I would do is have a small chicane in the middle of the main straight, but other than that, I like that layout. I'd love to run on tht if it was big enough for Nitro TCs!!!

Everyone better have brought the HP, looks like that's all you'll need for this layout.

I understand they changed the Daytona road course this year because it used too much of the oval.

The racers should not have to consider the oval to road change. The race is sold out with lots of money in the organizer's pocket, there is no reason they can't have a fully staffed crew there for the layout changes. With enough help they could reconstruct an entirely new layout in less than 30 minutes.

I think Adrian and Sobattka are right on the money. It is a bad road layout, there is no excuse. Maybe it should be called a roval.

It actually doesn't seem like the track is too much different than last year. My memory might be hazy but I think the "half oval" part is usually the same.

I know I had fun driving on it, ovalish or not!
