Wow, I didnt realize all of that. That does stink! Blackstock was fast no doubt and probably would have made a close run of it. My only opinion of it though, was like you said, Jilles' run should not be shadowed by it as I honestly dont think anyone would have caught him.

I was very happy to see Barry laughing with him and congratulating him at the end....even saving his cell phone for him from the dunking lol.

Bash Martin all you want just dont take anything from Jilles basically

I bet that won't be put in the Hudy headline about winning the race!

It shouldn't be. Jilles' win is legitimate. He is an excellent competitor and a really nice guy.

My only point is to keep an eye on Martin. I don't think he is going to get any love on the track from any pro drivers for a long time...not even his team mates.

Hm, ok, I wasn't there and I did not see that incident.
All I remember from last year was, that Martin was
taking out in his last qualifier by an A.........d driver.
Martin was on pace for 3rd or 4th on the grid in that
run.
This incident ended up in the B main for Martin and
it did not look like it was just an incident

This has nothing to do with Jilles, he TQ'ed both
classes and won both in big style and I am sure, if
anyone would have put him on pressure in the mains,
he could have gone faster.

Ok, Martin is still a young driver, it was his first ever
big major A-main, which is cool for him!!
He will learn from that!

I'm not sure what last year has to do with this. Jilles was the man at this race. There were a few that could have hung with him but since there were no rough driving penalties Jilles got out in the lead and drove awesome. There was pleny of hacking going on by lots of people.
