Not such a thing about rule like that - but I think it will look bad if you are factory guy and try to win in Sportsman class.
If I'm not wrong, I think all of those A main drivers in sportsman 19T are not factory drivers, but somehow sponsored drivers.

I guess its common amongst carpet racers to drive like that. I went to cleveland this year and noticed the same style of driving. Its like full contact racing out there. If your faster then they are in qualifying they wont move over out of curtasy and if you make a great pass forget about it because at the next corner they wont check up they way keep the hammer full noodle and drive through you. Also if you are a tad bit slower in one corner then they are you wont have time to move they will rather take you out. They need to start asessing penalties at these big races because sooner or later we'll be running plows for bumpers to scoop people out of the way.!

we,ll also wear helmets and swing baseball bats at other drivers while qualfying!

i want say to thanks for all the help from the xray team & tq hobbies also to tim cardinal & brent & butter & alex & popy .Hay im glad i could make your day sunday butter. Hopefully we will have a carpet track soon to test before next years snowbirds.congarats to all of the winners & team xray .

I believe it was referred to as the ROVAL and yes it made for some intersting racing as if you could hold the inside on the two sweepers you could do some good punting. not that I would do that.
