Oval is basically where Barry started all those years ago next to the Del Mar Fairgrounds at the site of the first Off-Road Worlds. The original Team Losi track and skate park.

I guess this means I have been racing awhile too. Damn.

Here is a pic of Toni with the trophy girls. She finished 2nd in the Pro Mod F Main - Billy Easton took first! This was a great race to watch everybody enjoyed it.

Hey, I totally live right there.

In fact, I was at those Worlds... I was like six years old or something. Always wanted to get into racing when I was a kid but had to wait until I could afford it myself many, many years later.

Would that be the old E&L Raceway at the Surf & Turf skate park? Damn, I guess I've been in and out of this hobby for a long time too. I think I lost to Barry in his first race. :-D

I gave some guy named Alan Kentner like $50 to lay the shocks onmy RC10 flat in the front and put front shocks on the rear, and replace the tub with a fiberglass chassis so I could run dirt oval. I didn't realize that place was so storied. Of course, I was like 10, so I don't remember much.

It was the surf and turf skate park and miniature golf. The track was The Ranch Pit Shop"Del Mar", then some oval place, then E&L raceway. I started racing there in 1985 and it was the ranch then and Kris Moore worked in the hobby shop.. I raced my Tamiya Hornet, LOL...the next week I had an RC10.

Default Awesome Race!

onebeatuptc3 - While there wasn't a "brawl" on the track after the Mod Touring A, Barry did let Martin Hudy know how his inability to let Blackstock pass....simply sucked. Mike was making an awesome charge to catch Jilles and it would have been an interesting ending.

However, Congrats to Jilles! He seemed to be on another level all week and drove flawless.

Congrats to the whole Snowbirds staff on another successful race! Excellent job!
