Looks like it could stand to be a bit more technical. Not bad though...

If Boylan or Ken Holmes are reading this...can you do something about the on road layout? Running the full oval is not so cool. I know this is an oval race but at least half the entries are on road and 90% of the press coverage goes to the On Road racing. The old lay out was better than this.

Fast Track! I guess they had to sacrifice the on-road layout a bit to make for quick changes between the oval and on-road programs. If you've ever been to the 'birds you know that the change over can take an hour or more. With this track it looks like they'll be able to do it in 5 minutes. If you go to snowbirdnationals.com, you can see the actual track in the web cam. Its not as bad as that line-drawing makes it seem. I also noticed that it doesn't look like they're going to have the "ice" for the oval guys this year.

Adrian - that track at Speedline for the first state race wasn't any more technical than this and everyone seemed to have fun. It is what it is. Let's just have some fun.

Ground- I did see the "ice" in one of the previous web cam views (yesterday).

I think your right about the track not looking quite as bad on the web cam as the drawing. It is still not last year's, but it looks better than what people are already giving it credit for.

Heres a tip, true you tires before you get here. I have a feeling its going to get real busy soon. Thats why we are out doing ours now.

From watching the webcam they won't be running the oval around the "outside" of the road course, I have seen them laying down the "ice" corners for the Oval, looks like the oval will be roughly 1.5 times the width of the road course.

Track does look nice and fast, could provide some interesting racing!

PS thanks for the webcam guys, its a really great feature of a really great race, just wish it wasn't 5,000 miles away from me
