Thumbs down Is this RCTech , or A-Main Hobbies ?

So what's the deal ? This place has become over-run by massive advertising EVERYWHERE and rife with Iron Fist moderating !!!
Seriously, such is the dictatorship in charge here, that a mention of the 1:1 Formula 1 qualifying result , in the F1 discussion thread sees my post and other replies vanish ....
What a joke !

No one likes a spoiler.

The mods aren't that bad here, try going to HPI Baja forums...its even worse over there with trigger happy mods.

I'm guessing if your post in the F1 thread was deleted, this won't be far behind.... or the thread will be locked and you'll get some kind of warning... I'll be watching

i agree with everybody here so far...the adds are outta hand...funny to see some of the adds that randomly pop up that have nothing do do with rc stuff...but i also agree that to keep it free somebody has to pay the bills...thats whats the ads are for. i think the heads of rctech should hold an open thread and ask for input on this issue. i will not bash mods or anybody else, just the annoying ads.

The issue was sorted , no need to delete a harmless post.

here is a link that will give some relavent information, possibly before going off like some headless chicken, you should look around and see what is going on.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-tech...er-now-ad.html

as for the moderating, if you have a problem, pm me, if there is an issue with my staff pm me, but if you thinkg we are iron fist moderating, i will ask you to kindly not return. we deal with a diverse group of people, and try and be as fair as possible.

if you have has some sort of negative run in with the staff, you should look and see how you were involved...there are many users here that never have contact with the moderators. if you have, look in the mirror, you just may find the problem.
