are you sure its not 75 mhz? and the "ABS" means anti-lock brakes. and if you dont know what that means, it mean that the brakes pulse so that they dont heat up and melt together. very good feature.

abs prevents ur car from spinning if the track condition is slippery or u use a one way.i dont think have an abs radio for under 100.the futaba 3pm is a good choice and have abs plus hrs(high response signal(with optional receiver).but it sells for 120+ if im not mistaken

you wouldn't need it for electric, but your speed control should have the ABS feature with it, most do. look at this one, good brand and it comes with a speed control.

i just did that to be mindful of the cost. if he really wants to save up, then just get and MX-3S sythensized. they always come in handy.

synthesiszed means that the radio system does not have crystals. so lets say that you are using channel 85, and someone else is on it though. well, with a synthesized radio, you can choose and channel that is open at the touch of a button, any channel on 75 or 27 mhz, whatever you choose. it is quite convenient. you dont have to ever worry about not having an available channel, because you can use any!!!
