We had a relatively successful debut with the car at IIC. Although the final result isn't what we expected it was a good learning experience. Its only the second time the car has been on carpet and the first time at just a high speed track.

Josh commented that the build quality of the cars was second to none. It responded well to set up changes and overall durability was very good. I think it only broke 2 parts all weeks.

Definitely drew a lot of attention, lots of people came by to look at it, photograph it. We are looking forward to learning more about the car and see what you all think when you get your hands on it.

Anyone with questions can post them here, PM me or email us at [email protected]
Do you know what your street price will be yet? I don't see it on the site.

Default Body Position

Hi Guys. I have been racing 8th On Road for the last 18 years and have just brought a ARC car to have a go with. As I am new to electric I have 1 question. On the 8th car you mount the body on the car using a measurement from the front bumper to the front of the body. Is that the same in Electric and if so can anyone give me a starting point for the ARC car.
Regards Andrew

I think ARC have that measurement on the setup sheet - but most people I know just mount the body so the front wheels are in the middle of the wheel wells.

Mugen NZ - Madmaxaus is right for the Blitz bodies. They have dimples to mount straight on the R10 that puts the wheel well right in the center. If I remember correctly it's about 3-4mm off the foam to the front end. If you measure to the inside edge of the front splitter (more like we do with 1/8 cars) you would be looking more like 7-8mm from the foam to the inside edge of the splitter. I'll throw the different bodies on my car and take some pictures.

Thanks guys. I only just finished building the car late last night and so havent set it up yet as still need to put the electrics in tonight. I am sure I would have seen that on the setup sheet if I had read it fully. It is a Blits body that I have but cant remember what one it is so will have a look tonight when I get home.
Thanks Andrew

The first shipment of ARC R10 kit and all spare/optional parts will arrive in a week. All ARC products will be available directly on www.shopviperrc.com in this stage. We are working with major dealers so hopefully ARC products will be out to US market soon. Please stay tuned next week!!

No sense in ordering overseas - paying extra shipping or waiting a while to get your orders.

End of the week will will have everything here in the US. I get my packages Priority Mail - 2 days from WA to NY.

So far, I have order parts from both RC muchroom & Jamrocracing.

RC-muchroom took about 2 weeks

Jamrocracing- just got my parts today when I order on Sunday.

How cheap will the shipping be on the Viper website with 2 days priority?

I don't think there is a concrete answer for that, its going to depend on what your order. We are definitely going to do the best we can. We just want to get you quality products, at a good price, as quickly as possible. So you can use it and brag to your friends how great it is.
