Just curious, I plan on getting a new car for next year maybe. I want to drive a belt car. Is the t1fk'05 the best car on the market right now?

I just saw a built FK05 and I thought the second deck is a bit too high considering every manufacturer (as far as i know of) is trying to lower their car's CG (centre of gravity).
Just wondering what your thoughts on this as it's pushing me away from getting this car.

this car is way harder to roll than the older fk. being so light, i doubt that the upper deck makes a big difference by being a few mm's higher.

I am getting ready to build the new FK05 and wanted to know if it is a good idea to run thin CA around the chassis or if it's a waste of time. Any thoughts??

Definitely a must for carpet racing.
However, it might be slight overkill for asphalt.

This car is awesome ....
After spending some time at the track over the past couple of days, I have to say that this car is by-far the best TC that I have run to date. It's fast, corners well (too well), and is super-smooth.
I spent some time on the set-up and after working out a slight traction problem (too much), I have come to the conclusion that this car is FAST!!!
The track that I have been running the car at is new, however, is turning into a high-traction facility ... everyday seems to be a different set-up. I can't wait until this place's carpet balances-out.
The only one complaint that I have is like many people have posted on this forum - the dry diffs. All my other X-Ray's have never come from the factory with dry diffs - this has been a first. Other then that, much like any other X-Ray's that I have owned in the past, the quality of the parts in this car are second to none.
