How bad is it to put the RX on top of the servo? What about moving the antenna? That would let me move everything forward, and might fix it.
rctoyguy, I would suggest releasing the capacitor from you ESC and mount the cap to the top of the ESC or the top deck. This will let you move the ESC in closer to the center of the chassis as well as protect your switch. Maybe turning your RX on it's long side. Don't forget to seal the big, cracked hole in your RX too.

On all my Personal Transponders, I put Deans Micro connectors so I can switch them from car to car. This way you can make the wire the perfect length. I also mount the PT right behind the bumper in front of the diff and route the wire along the chassis to clear any moving parts.

Hope this helps.

It feels pretty stiff to me, a lot more than the stock 04. I would think that the new wide top deck would do the trick. But if you want to go super stiff and a larger spur, get the 3mm bottom chassis for sure.

Thanks a lot.

I 'll post that on the xray forum too.
Try to find the unbalance side between L/R first.. use that small hudy tool. After you know which side, you would have better idea to place additional weights. Preferable in front of the car for more steering.

aantonis,
Is that total weight with rubber tires or cut foams? ROAR rules: rubber/1524g vs. foams/1418g

If you're using 3300 and 3700 packs, you may want to mount some weight to the packs themselves so the car will be balanced side to side no matter which pack you run.

If you don't have balancing pins or scales, you can figure to put all the additional weight on the roof of your lexan body. I hear that's what everyones doing. lol!

I have yet to put on all my electronics and set the car up, but once I do, I can give you more details as to where all the weight is at from side-to-side, front-to-back, and per wheel.

The total weight under EFRA specs with rubber tyres is suppose to be 1500grams without a transponder or 1515 with a PT.

How come they don't include the PT with total weight? I would try the weight setup that's on Xrays rubber setup sheet. It looks to be mostly down the center.

Suprisingly enough-not yet.

I could buy one tonight at AJ hobbies-but I have a pre-order in on the JRXS and a full spares inventory. If i get one it wont be till June or so.

Ordered mine at lunch. Now I just have to finish all this other work so I can have time to build it. It will be a good carrot for the time being to prod me along.
