Good luck at getting an answer on this thread.
I would contact Steve at speedtechrc for hop ups and to get answers to your questions. Im getting the battery strap and the motor guard myself. From what Ive read you really dont need anything else. I dont know what body you would run, but Im guessing a Alfa or Stratus 3.0.

I'm a firm believer in the spring steel front wheel hubs.....
I'm not sold on the motor protector. I just don't see it providing much protection. It will help you psychologically I suppose.
it would be like putting 'nerf bars' like you see on big trucks onto your family sedan to protect your kids in the event of a side impact....in theory it doesn't sound like a bad idea until you realise that the majority of the force of impact is transmitted ABOVE where the bar sits

I agree with you on the motor guard. Honestly, I'm just afraid it is going to crack the main chassis if you use steel screws and if you use aluminum screws, then it might absorb some impact and bend the screws, but I lot of people might not think the possibility of cracking the chassis so they put the hardest screws on there. I think if you are going to use the motor guard, should go with a medium strength screws.

It would be good if a motor protecter with built-in side air deflectors to help cool the endbell be produced. Can't wait to see what BMI can come up with as an option chassis.
