Actually, I'll eventually put Tamiya shocks on the car, but will try the T1FK05 shocks first.

Yeah, I decided to get one a few weeks ago and use it specifically for carpet and save the 415 for asphalt. With the new track coming out, I may have to let one go for a 1/8th gas car...

Hi Apex,

My set-up of the snowbirds will be on the teamxray website pretty soon. They have to finish the new set-up sheet of the FK05. Check the downloads area on the xray website and you will find it soon.

Best regards,

Super

Something Tony could probably answer just as easily, but he didnt win Snowbirds
How different have you found setting up this car to the '04 version?

By that i mean with the weight being a little further forward, is there anything you've found you've changed to take this and other updates into account?

Congrats on the double victory too

Default THICK TOP DECK

That real thick deck with the rear standoffs.

I wonder if that will be an optional part? OR was it for the team guys only?

Hi,

From last years snowbirds we ran a bit softer oil. 30W instead of 40W last year. We ran same springs. It seemed that the new car had more reaction in the chicane. What I also noticed was, when the traction came up the car didn't flip at all. Last year we had many problems when entering the corner that the inside wheels were lifting. We ran a bit wider topdeck then the kit will have. We did that because the traction was super high. On normal tracks foam or rubber tyres the kit topdeck will be also really good.
And the wider topdeck will be a option part.

The internal ratio of the new car is 1.70....I forget if it was posted in the specs on www.teamxray.com or if it was in the Team Xray forum....

Hi Dom.....you know better than that. Xray does not have team only parts. Those hard arms never existed

I am going to shoot you a PM soon, I have a question for you. Thanks

Yeah, that was one thing I was worried about, another team-only items. I didn't run foams this past season so I wasn't too concern on hard arms, but next year when I might run foams, hard arms would be a great thing to have. At least they are making the thick top deck for the general public.

Got your pm, you got a reply.
