I always give them a second shrink wrap. To prevent the change of shortcut over the chassis.

I mean the chassis's battery slots. This was the instructions on the old Associated cars with graphite chassis. I'm thinking the more stuff you wrap your batteries with, the more they retain heat, which may not be a good thing.

I did read to quick
Tape around the slots?? I've never seen anybody do that.
BTW: Heat is not a problem with my cells and I run IB4200 with 12 turn modified motors.

Default asphalt foam setup

Does anybody have an asphalt foam setup for 19 turn racing, i'm particularly interested in the springs combination. I'm currently using the flexible upper deck with all stiffeners removed to make the car more flexible on a 2.5 m chassis. 26 mm Powers foams 40 shore front and back, uncut I'm guessing 63 mm. Yellow up front and white in the rear. Would a yellow yellow setup work? How about the red springS? Gearing is currently at 112 x 30 but the possibility is always there to go to a 115. The track is fairly bumpy and coated with sugar water. Steering is extemely aggresive and the car is ballistic, but I'm loking for a better ride.

Appreciate the help.

Does anybody know what the part number is of the o ring in the battery bar?
Any installation instructions would be appreciated as well.

Did anyone ever make any aftermarket parts for this car, such as the battery bar or motor guard? Is xray the only source?

As far as I know: Only Xray makes these hop-ups commercially. And I got them both
