You know what, it's just f'ing annoying.... It's the car of the week lately... I own numerous Associated cars and the workmanship on my 20 year old stuff is much better than the kits of today... I've been out of the loop for a few months, I just loggen on today to find out there's the T2, was hoping the 05 would at least make it till 06....

If I had flown to a larger event, and discovered a real problem that required a serious overhaul fast, and I was unable, take the cost of your hotel, add in your airfare, entry fees and meals, time off from work, general aggrivation, and you'd get an answer that is higher in value than the car. I'm gonna run one (or two), just because it was desgined to be easier to work on. That's worth more to me than anything. Make my life a little easier.
Given the situation you pointed out, isn't that what spare cars are for?

Yes its nice that the car is easier to work on so why didn't they design it that way to begin with? Its like making a car with no hood to access the engine and then say "oh you want to be able to repair the engine?" then redesign it with a hood.

Okay, now that the car is easier to work on, does that translate to a better handling car than the one thats hard to work on? I think thats the ultimate goal of getting a new car. If so, I'll be in line for one with everyone else.

Right now with the FK05, I'm in a situation where the car is outdriving me.

Ok I got a question. Does this mean 3 hole rear pistons or 1? It's off Mike Dumas's 19t IIC setup.

Anyone know where to find instructions on the proper use of the serpent shocks?

I picked them up but need to change the holes.

Thanks.

Nick

I've been trying to download the instruction manual for the Serpent 960 (the car these shocks are used on), from mytsn.com and haven't been able to get it. Maybe, someone can help us out on this one.

Hi Guys,

I've been getting a few emails and phone calls about this, and I just want to let everyone know that on the FK05 we will continue to stock parts and support this chassis for as long as Xray continues to make parts for them (and we recently just receive a pretty healthy shipment of parts for the FK05)

Thanks

Steve Wang

Mario posted a few minutes ago that Xray would continue to support the T1 series cars, including the 05, for at lest the next couple years.....
