so i use that associated green stuff for the shocks , i have no more leaky shocks
i used run 1-2 meetings then have air in them & seapege at the bottom

Still can`t see why if the lowered every thing except the shocks & shock towers COG could of got that a lot lower just by shortining the shocks

still getting one though
What is this green stuff you use?

I agree with you that the shock towers and shocks should be also upgraded (maybe in FK06 ). I plan to buy the new BMI shock towers and use the Tamiya shocks I have. The new BMI towers holes placed '0.5 hole' lower than the orginal xray ones (both front and rear)

That´s the Green Slim made by RCPS. Don´t have a part# yet but should be easy to find at the AE website.

You know its bad when team drivers are asking him for parts....

Until Xray switched distributer in the UK, the only place you could get spares from was the team drivers, whenever new parts came into the country, they'd get first shout on everything, and if there was anything left, it'd be sent out in dribs and drabs to all the shops who had long lists of customers wanting spares.

I've never really had any problems with spares though, the cars are so reliable and strong that they dont break much, if anything i do more lower front bumpers than anything else so that shows that im doing my fair share of hitting stuff, but the car stays in 1 peice finishing the race which is what matters.

Getting hold of spares is better now though apparently, thankfully Xray's now with Mirage who actually have the funds to keep good stock of supplies, at least enough to cope with the demand anyway.

well, that positively sucks...so that means that I will be spending money for an aftermarket chassis and top deck!

and it is getting frustrating not getting answers on a part number for the battery strap. Is it going to be ready with the kits? My kits been on order but I wanted the strap as well.

Might need to wait for them to release a date when that will posted in their site. I to am annoyed with all this "quality management stuff". What happen to good old customer service?

Spares/hop-ups should be available when the kit is launched, those extra hop-up parts will still be there, and just cos you dont know the part number doesnt mean you cant phone your LHS and ask them to hold one back for you, as soon as the part number is announced, you could phone back and confirm the detail, still with or without a part number, you can still ask for these items to be reserved for you!

Theres no conspiracy where masses of people are refusing to tell just you, its everyone, however they'd probably realise just asking the modelshop to save them one would put them ahead of people sitting around waiting for a number before acting on it.
