If you're talking about the thin black o-rings, they go in the shock bottom cap. They're pretty usefull. They keep the shock from leaking between the body and cap.

It gets annoying after a while. Probably the expansion of a typo..kinda like the whole "PWNED" thing
Pillowball is no typo, it's just come across from the pillowballs used in the suspension on full size cars. They do a similar function to what most rc car manufacturers call pivot balls.

I have a question, maybe it has already been discussed before...

When looking at the pictures of Jille and Joel on the Xray website (Jille's report from the birds)

http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/new...&kategoria=469

it looks like they were using a new top deck with aluminium upper deck stands but on the rear of the car... is this going to be included in the kit or as an option???

It'll more than likely to be an optional part (if they are going to mass produce it). What you see in the pics from XRAY site in the presentation is what you'll get.

Ok I have the new chassis on order. My worry is parts support. Has the issue of importing parts and the like been solved? When I need a suspension arm or an option part I don't want to have to worry about hearing no one has them because of yada, yada, yada. Just a concern and I did think about it before I pre-ordered.

Not quite sure why everyone had a problem with parts. I for one had no problem what so ever during the summer and winter for my FK. About the only thing that is out and I'm waiting right now are the wheels. Whenever I go to my shop, he has pretty much everything hanging on the wall.

Well I know some FK'04 guys here in my area that were looking for parts and had a hard time getting them. I'm getting this car and support Xray. I just want parts when I need or want them. I don't break a lot but.... I do like to have spares just in case.

It probably has a lot to do with the shop owners order frequencies. I mean literally we have like 8 to 9 team guys and 7 of us runs XRAY and we never really had a problem with parts. Plus, there are at least another 9 xray cars from club racers. None of us hardly had to miss a race because we don't have certain parts. Don't get me wrong, if 3 guys break shock towers on the same day, 1 guy is probably SOL.... but the normal breakable stuff, arms, c-hubs, knuckles, those we are well stocked! And an FYI too, there is still a NIB FK kit sitting on the shelve when I hear people couldn't find one!!!

sounds like they are shipping them out to be sold on the 21st. So they will be in transit to the hobby shops well before the 21st.

Cool, in this case that means hobby shop will receive them the week before hand, might be able to get one before the official release date now!
