If anyone gets the kit with both chassis's and they don't want the 2mm chassis, send me a pm and a price, I could use one.

I'm not sure about AE oil, but from what I've heard (it is very similar to Trinity) I'd have to agree with cvt01. I filled one shock with XRAY 30wt oil and another with 50wt Trinity oil and bled them to the same rebound length. Then I put both of them on the Losi (forgive me) shock length tool, pulled them to maximum length and compressed them while watching the needle at the bottom. They were very close in rate with the XRAY oil filled shock being one tick quicker on compression.

XRAY 25wt oil is similar to AE/Trinity 30wt. I haven't confirmed this myself.

XRAY 35wt oil is similar to AE/Trinity 80wt. I've tested this with the shock length tool and its what I run for foam/carpet now.

Mistake! I filled it with 55wt Trinity oil, not 50wt.

Basically, it seems that for every 5 points for XRAY oil, you can move 25 points in Trinity oil.

It stiffens the overall rear suspension by giving the shocks more leverage on the lower arm. Keep in mind that if you change the lower position and leave the upper one where it is, the initial compression will feel similar since the shocks will be more layed down. But they will progressively stiffen quicker and not allow the car to roll as much as when the lower shock mounts were mounted to the inside hole.

With past T1 models having more weight over the rear end, using the outer position kept the rear end more consistently stable. But with the FK05's slight front weight bias, the inside holes work fine.
