i have a fk04 diff being used in a xray and i find that no matter how tight i do up the diff before a race it becomes ultra loose by the end of the race?
why is this so? i have recently re built it used almost no grease and even after totally re-building it it doesn this?
could it be the plastic nut retainer is worn out? or is it soemthing else? i am using a stock motor.

I would say that either your diff screw is stripped or the plastic nut retainer is worn out.

Got my team tamale lowered shock collars today, quick and cheap delivery worldwide, i believe they were posted Friday, and to make it to me by Tuesday is pretty damn impressive, ill get them fitted later
Edit: Got them fitted and the car is SLAMMED! 2.5mm ride height all around from, what was 5.5-6mm using Tamiya shocks and unknown ballends.

Would using a high roll center with 0 anti squat cause me to not be able to lower my ride height below 7.5????

All right guys, just received my new FK 05 kit, it included a 2.0/3.0 chassis, three hole steering blocks, and all black screws? Would this be the "newer" kit? Regardless, I'm in awe over the quality, and was more than happy when I saw the diffs were already built!

For all we know, Hudy could be coming out with an all new ride in 06 and they are dumping these chassis' into the kits to get rid of inventory....
