Xray T1FK05

Hey everyone:
I'm trying to figure out why one of my diffs is slipping. One of them is pretty smooth, but the other will slip a lot no matter how much i tighten it. So, I think I messed up somewhere when rebuilding it. Any suggestions? Thanks

you probably assembled the thrust washers in the wrong order. one is like .2mm smaller diameter than the other. i believe the smaller one goes towards the inside of the diff. i had this same problem a month or two ago when i rebuilt mine for the first time.

U need the rear shock set x2 to use on the xray and the length is perfect same as xray.
903165 – Shock absorber set RCC RR (2)
THIS is the part u NEED!

OK, I was wrong regarding to the length of the Xray shocks. I remeasured them and they are 70mm long fully expanded. So they are inbetween the 68 and 73
Sorry.
Have anybody tested the Serpent Rear shocks with foam shock tower? Do they fit?
What is the difference between the front and rear shocks? only the shaft lenght or the body is different also?
Sorry I don't want to be too annoying but last time everybody told me that tamiya shocks fit perfectly so I've just bought them and I've found out that they actually don't. Had to buy parts for at least 15$ to make them fit but still far from the best. I want to avoid that this time.

For anyone looking to use the Tamiya shocks on their car here is a post I bookmarked a while ago:

I ran with the new Serpent shocks and a foam shock tower yesterday with no problems.
Concerning Tamiya shocks, I've never tried them, but P-dub Racing has "Alloy Shock Mounts" that apparently make it very easy to mount them to just about any touring car. Click on the photo in the 3rd column, 2nd to last row:

Still haven't ordered an FK05 - they're out of stock everywhere. I've paid for the BMI kit, but Jason is out of 3mm c/f.
So the FK05 comes with the standard tower, and the carpet tower is an option, correct? How do the BMI towers compare, front and rear?
