The endbell is a further 3/8" out past the cap, so in a way it gives it a little protection You could mount the ESC in a little closer to the belt and it would be less exposed. I have had a couple of hits in the side and no problems so far.

I run on high bite carpet. The car handles good. I was wondering if I should run sway bars. Wouldn't that give me more transition speed and keep the car flatter?

Do you guys run sway bars on carpet?

it would give you less chassis role, but front or rear roll bar? what is your car doing. ie. oversteer in mid corner ect.. more info we can help you out better.

Just a quick note to let you know that we have the new shocks in stock and available. They fit all Xray cars. Part number is #903164 for the fronts and #903165 for the rears. They come pre build and ready to go. Check with your LHS.

I use the Kose 3.03mm reamer.

Most team drivers use a a 1.0mm front anti-roll bar for foam/carpet racing. I use a front anti-roll bar, but I haven't tried using a rear one yet.

I had the arm 100% out of the car holdnig the hinge pin and it was a super tight fit. Someone else I know had the same thing happen to his as well.

i heard that you need to use the rear serpent shocks on both the front and rear of the x-ray ????

so you need to buy two pairs of rear shocks???

That's what I've read as well. It's my understanding that the front RCC shocks are shorter that the rears, could be wrong. This is what was posted by acutts about the shocks: "Anyone want to get the best shocks possible for the X-ray .... do yourselves all a favour and buy the new Serpent shocks (U need 2 sets rears 903165). They fit directly on and are the smoothest best working shocks I have ever seen. It took me exactly 4mins to fill with oil and assemble 4 shocks with no air bubbles and exactly the same rebound. They are just awesome."

Shock lengths on the Xray cars T1 Evo2 and later were all equal length...

The T1 used Serpent shocks F& R and were unequal length.

That's rigth...... Front and rear of the Xray are the same as the rears.

They come in individual packs, so you just need to get to set of rears and you are set
