They are just awesome.
Mine are on the way. Buggers sure are pricey though......

I took a break from the hobby this yr but I'm looking to get back in by January; so has anyone heard if Xray will be putting out a new model next yr?

Exactly what size wrench does the screws in the top deck and bottom of the chassis take.
2.0 is the only thing I have that fits in there and is somewhat snug, problem is I have stripped most of the screws.
Any one know where I can buy some good replacement screws other than the high dollar kit from xray?
Thanks
Dayton

I used RC Screwz in my XRay and have been very happy. Not only do they add a little extra bling I have never had one strip out.

Check out this link http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/N2SRHI?PMSECT=0002006708 This is where i purchase all my screws. Unless you want to spend top dollar for titanium screws, you can buy them by the box of 100 for $5-$7.

If you coat the beveled part of the CF with CA glue where the screw touches the chassis or upper deck then they will not be so hard to get out. When they get tight it's because the get stuck in the CF, not the aluminum.

can someone help with setup I just want a bit more rear grip the back of the car is very touchy if you dont white knuckle the controller the ass slipps out

if I run 42r on the front and 37r on the rear I get it but I would prefer to run 42r on front and 40r on rear

I was thinking of using 42f on the front maybe that would help

here is my setup

After looking at you setup I would suggest increasing the front droop a bit. This will allow for more weight transfer to the rear. Remember with droop the front-end effects the rear and the rear-end effects the front. The other thing you might try, if you haven’t all ready, is shorting your wheelbase. This may sound counter intuitive but it will put more weight over the rear wheels thus stabilizing the rear end. Hope this helps.
