[QUOTE=rtypec]I'm uncertain as to whether this has been posted before, but I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Xray driver Juan Avetiya for making both 19T Rubber and Stock Rubber A mains at this year's IIC race held in Las Vegas. Great job Juan, your speed isn't overlooked by other teams

Thanks for the props. To bad you didn't go to the strip club with us. By the way, how do you really like the ib3800's? Express wants me to run them. Jon at express say's their great. Talk to ya later.

You could use the 05 multi-diff in the 04's rear to transform it into a front wheel drive car with rear brakes though.

Here's the link for the 04 multi-diff:

I'm not sure of the size, but I'll check this evening.

What are your guy’s thoughts on the new adjustable top plate? Is it worth getting over the wide top plate?

I'll be testing with it on both the 2.5mm and 3mm chassis' (carpet/foams) in the next couple of weeks and I'll post what I find ASAP. I assume it adds weight up high over the standard wide deck though. It'll be interesting to see how it works with both chassis'.

I haven't had the adjustable one in my hands yet, but I'd guess that it is stiffer with all three braces mounted since it has more surface area as seen in the pics.

The xray site is down. I think I saw a 3.5 mm xtra thick chassis at my lhs earlier this week. Does such a thing exist, or is there only the 2.0 , 2.5 , and 3.0? Any word yet on the dimensions to the dropp guages and blocks?

3.5 Now you'r into nitro territory.

With a chassis as thick as that, you may not even need a top plate!

Andrew,

I believe the XRC chassis for the FK04 was 3.5mm.

As of right now, there are only 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0mm for the FK05.

You might have seen the XRC chassis for the original FK, but I'm not aware of a 3.5mm chassis for the FK05.
