[QUOTE=the_barbarian]I am using the alloy shocks in one of my Xrays and im sorry to say the Tamiya TRF shocks still shit all over them

the Xray ones are OK but not that good considering the cost

Pro4 Shocks are very nice too and cheaper

I have to say I love the way you can adjust the xray shocks unlike other brands[/QUOUTE/]

i use xray shocks i used to have a pro 4 i really didnt like them there a big pain in the ass to assemble( or i might be do dumb to assemble em )

2 mm chassis: Super for low grip asphalt. More flex gives more grip. Combined with adjustable topdeck even better.
2.5 mm (standard): good allrounder (asphalt and carpet)
3 mm: Very good for carpet

For low grip asphalt my EVMC-setup
For high grip asphalt the setup of Jilles on the MACH-track

Never done that. I've seen somewhere pictures of a single and also double coolerbracket (aftermarket, not from xray) above the motor.

for a cooling fan try useing a transponder mount and place it right ontop of the motor mount, witht the hole u can secure it with a screw and cut a hole and place the fan on top with either screws or servo tape

I run the 120tooth if you are running the 3mm carpet chassis. 116tooth if using the stock chassis.
