Hey Guys. I wanna try and use a spool for the first time outdoors. I have a couple of questions. I read on here that alot of people like the spool but the black blades get damaged. What type of damage are we talking about.
I just dont want to be in my main and have the black blade get damaged or come off the cvd and it mess up my Multidiff and not make me finish the race.
Any Info

The "Black Blade" you talk of is called the "Drive Shaft Replacement Cap" they are an item that is meant to wear out. Better a $1 cap than the diff shafts getting damaged. I replace mine once they shown signs of wearing (splitting).
They only split if you hit something - something I do all the time
The caps on a spool will wear them out quicker than ones on a standard diff as a spool has less give in it when you hit something...

Droop- pretty much the starting point for droop on asphalt is always 2/3mm (fr/rr respectively). Some start with 3/3, but it really depends on the smoothness of the track surface. If it's quite bumpy then you will have to use other options to tune than droop because the suspension needs the ability to travel in both directions.

the black "blades" are one of the great little xray features that i always ask myself "why don't other brands copy it??"
especially for high torque cars like nitros....but oww well i guess they don't want to be seen as copycats
