hi i was just wondering if there were any extra parts needed or modification done to the tamiya shocks to mount them on the 05

well i ran my car today for the first time, it was awesome....shocks were fine....blah blah blah. Nothing new to say that another new xray guy is happy.

Bumpsteer .... Not sure what effect that would have do you ... I have never used it ... I see a lot of the setup sheets have a 1mm spacer.

I am not sure whether to change my chassis to the 2mm from the kit standard. I run outdoors on asphalt. Has anyone used the new 2 mm and find it any better than the standard chassis?

The 2mm chassis IS really working better than the standard 2.5mm one. The car will carry more overall traction and more steering as well.

I ran the 2mm chassis last time I raced, it did give the car much more steering, almost too much. I spent the whole day trying to tighten up the car, especially coming out of the corner.

What worked to keep the rear end stable? Enquiring minds would like to know.
