The kit spurs are a load of poo. Get ones from RW and the problem will go away. Don't forget to replace the supplied motor screws with some proper 3mm ones.

Where are you all putting your personal transponders??? I'm trying to keep it off the CF.... Any pictured would be nice since the search still doesn't allow searching images....

Its zip tied to the back of the bulkhead, it works and hard crashes haven't affected it.
Before, I stuck it on top of my servo as well. But I found that the front balanced out better with it on the right side of the centerline.

Hmmmm.... An idea, but I want to velcro mine in....
How is Hampton these days? I haven't been there since we moved back up north in the 70's....

vtl1180ny,
Housing is going sky high here. I bought my house near buckroe beach in 2000 for 125k and its now work 260k.
ALBERTO,
Its a one of a kind, used to be part of the left rear of an fk04 stock chassis, fabricated, adjustable motor mount screw integrated item.
Dremel is a wonderul thing and anyone who has beatup chassis to throw away, please PM me as I'm always making my own prototype parts (not for sale but for wins
). I'm sure the BMI fan mount will be up to par.

Sure are. They work very well for carpet and asphalt. 26mm 40 shore fronts with very little additive to the inside 1/4" and 30mm 35 shore rears fully sauced. The grip they provide allows me to run a very stiff setup on our new & smooth carpet track with 40/35lb springs. All other local Xrays running electric foams go down to 33/28lb springs for grip. They're more resistant to chunking and soak up the sauce faster (1 min soak before race) as well. The stiff setup gives lightning quick response and a lot of on-power steering without loss of grip in the rear and corner speeds are at the top.

I ran mine up front with the fk04, but with the weight on the 05 being shifted forward I though it best to move the extra forward weight of the PT to the rear of the front axle. With so much weight up front any extra weight placed in front of the front axle will act like a fulcrum weight and lift the already light rear end up too much when decelerating.

I should tell you the price of houses up here then.... If I could talk my ex wife into moving I'd be back down south in a heartbeat....
How well is the spektrum working in the car with the antenna cut down??? I'd like to trim mine but I'm a little concerned about running inside with all the flourescents....
