Also, from looking at this picture

it looks as though there is room on the chassis to move the droop screw hole out farther on the arm and still make full contact with the chassis.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
I'm not sure about the a-arms. There have been some prototypes using different materials in the past so some may have used some of those.

The reason the chassis is a bit wider is to ensure the screw is not too close to the edge. The droop screw hole will, at least at this stage, stay in the same position but certainly for future molds it is something to consider. At the front there is more room too and if memory serves I could use the outside droop hole on the front arms.

BTW, XRay has not communicated an official release date yet so any dates provided are potentially incorrect.

Tonyv-check ouut this homebrew modification. Now when you got o set droop (uptravel) its a solid thunk when the droop screw hits the chassis.

Heard a different thing. The old battery brace will be supplied with the kit and a new style X-brace will be an option.

Found this picture at a German forum . Here you can see the new battery brace.

This picture is one of the many provided at the X-Ray Fk05 presentation.

It is the new battery brace.

Looks good Ray, may have to try that myself. With the FK05 chassis that'll work even when you run a long wheelbase.

MR Jolly is right. The battery strap will be offered seperately as an option. Indeed many drivers prefer using tape with this configuration as they are worried about introducing a tweak in the car. This is why the chassis enables the use of tape. Rather than forcing everyone to pay for the strap even if they don't want to use it, it was decided to make it an option part instead.

you got to do better then that me old fruit
it would be better the other way round , your forcing people to use tape instead

That hole is getting bigger in the ground
