downstop: a value you read on a measuring tool that tells you how much lower/higher than the chassis bottom a point in your suspension part (arms generally) sits.
Basically the droop is what your chassis's set up like. Downstops are just a way to measure it, but it changes from car to car, from tool to tool, and sometimes even from driver to driver (depends on which point you measure it on the car)

I had to file my stock chassis, which was no big deal...I haven't heard any feedback on the 3.0mm chassis.
Have you secretly started building your FK to FK05 conversion Dan???

I have a fully hopped up T1, either I buy a kit new or I buy all the hop up FK05 parts and build one up, it costs a little less to buy it in parts. When the project is complete I will have an FK05 with all the option parts. Also, it's kinda fun to build up a car like this..

Started building my Fk05 last and I noticed a play between the
bulkheads and the ball diff. Do you guys have this problem? or do i need to shim it? Thanks.

How do you guys check the droop? I have seen/read about several ways to do it. I guess it doesn't really matter as long as I check it the same way each time - just to use it as a reference from one run to another. I mean, it ain't like anyone is going to want to copy the setup I am running - LOL
