Your current setup is important as previously posted, but many times with a new car one of the diffs will become loose and in your case a very loose front diff will casue the problem you are referring to in your post. This is casued since the front end cannot pull the rear end out of the corner.

Also, what type of track are you running on and what type of tires?

I have a slight issue. I decided to check the diffs since I have run my '05 a bunch of times and am starting to run hotter and faster motors. I wasn't too surprised to see bone dry diffs after reading some posts a few pages back. I was surprised to see only 11 diff balls in the front. I know I won't notice too much of a difference, but it's just my luck to be missing a little part like that. The car still works great though. Oh well.

I'm gonna send them an e-mail, but the car works great, so i'm just gonna let them know about the discovery, not complain about it.

Actually on the topic of being one ball short of a full diff...

When i built my 04 around the first of the year, i lost a ball trying to lube the diff, anyway, the diff is still money without being touched, and I have run the novak race, regional and national, and a BUNCH of club racing inbetween, so I wouldnt be worried about it. Although it is a good idea to lube the diff up, both diff lube for the balls and also black grease or the like for the thurst bearing, since its like they just put bearing oil in the diff to lube it at the factory...

Is the multidiff available (as a spare part) outside of the US anywhere?

Sorry, I didn't see your location before I posted it. X-ray should be notified though. I didn't check the thrust bearing. I will check it later on tonight and let you know.

I will actually say, thank you for that post.

Work is stressing me out to the point where i'm gonna pop and that post helped out a little. Just a little.

I noticed that it felt the same at the rear and wasn't too worried. It still is as smooth as can be and doesn't slip.

Later,

Tim

Anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone have any experiences to share about ideas they have tried in the past? (successful or unsuccessful)

Thanks
Instead of adding clunky weights, add some weight that may do you some good, like fans! Im sure an LHS down there has something you can use

OK let me rephrase that, is there any hobby shops outside of the US that can get a hold of a 305102 and ship it to the US?
