TB EVO 2 question

TB EVO 2 question
Hi there.
Is was thinking about a TB Evo 2 , just for silvercan racing (for fun, not the win).
I know there are better choices but I sort of like the idea of owning a TB Evo .
Is this car just too old , will parts be impossible to find or will parts from later TB's fit ??
Cheers

Have you tried to find one lately ? They are darned hard to find. The 2 was a good car though. Try the Tamiya website for commonality of parts. The manual might still be available to download. Most Tamiya manuals have a parts breakdown in the back.
Personally I think you might have a hard time getting the gearing right and possibly some issues with hardcase lipo batteries.

I have a tb evo 3 which I use for silvercan racing. It's still a really good car and parts are available for it... Although as its a Tamiya it doesn't really break.
It also fits lipos in perfectly, loads of space.
