Best Tamiya M Chassis for Carpet?
I am currently trying to get into the Mini class at my local track, but I can decide which model is best for me. We run high traction carpet and have very tight turns. What would you guys suggest?
Thanks! |
you should get the M06 pro if your racing on carpet.

I have an M-06 and it pushes like a dump truck. The M-05 seems to be the car to beat on carpet.

M05 is great on carpet. Everyone in the local clubs close to me run the M05. They are fun to drive and fairly easy to get setup and handling well... for a mini ;)

I have a M05 pro roller for sale.

Mo5 with ball diff and tamiya oil filled shocks. Have fun

Thanks everyone! The M05 was the car I've been eyeing, I just wanted to make sure I didn't buy, like Mooby said, a dump truck. :p

m03's and m05's are great on carpet. the long wheelbases seem to do the best. we've been running foams, yeah racing. some guys were running trimmed/cut touring car foams and hooked up realy well.

I've been running an MO6 with a medium wheelbase on rubber tires and it's dialed!

2011 Tamiya Asia Championships... a lot of the countries came with M06's only to buy and build M05s on the spot to be competitive. don't get me wrong... the M06 is capable and fast... but its kinda hard to push and dice without brakes... :)
