24mm and 26mm wheels what is the difference?

And please dont say 2mm.....ba da bing! What are the track conditions or surface where I would prefer one over the other.......thanks:tire:

Actually it depends on the tire. Most tires now are 24mm. It's rare to see anything that is 26mm for racing.

Ok you wanna use 24mm tires and wheels on:

Asphalt (tight/open)
Carpet (tight/open)
Concrete (tight/open)
wood flooring (tight/open)

And you will wanna pick 26mm tires when:

You race a spec class like Tamiya TL-01/TT-01 and it mandadtes 26mm tires...

Simple huh??

i think you coulda summarized that shorter lol:D

they still make 26mm??
Seriously though, don't even bother with 26mm unless your just parking lot racing or are entering concourse. Most of the nice tread & show tires are 26mm, not really suited for racing.
