That clears up a lot. I have a corrupt mind so I was thinking worse and would've continued with that belief.

I can say the fan blows a ton of air and keeps the motor really cool. I do okay getting around the track, hitting stuff here and there..... haven't had anything break on it yet. The locals that aren't familiar with it, can't believe how much air this fan throws off.

Can someone please do a WTF fan test holding it near some small scales, like the video's we've seen before. If you can, please do it at 6V and 8.4V

Just ordered a 30 and a 40mm to play with. I've used the originals spr fan as well as the gravity fan and have been pleased with both.

Bringing up an older thread, but don't see any new threads on this subject.

What's the best fan out there in 30x30 size?

I am happy w/ Yeah Racing's offering for $10, but am seeing that Orca makes one for $27 in the same size. Murffdog also, and R1 works. I wish there was some universal fan output measurement listed for all of these fans ...otherwise its just word of mouth and experience trying them (which can be expensive).

I have tried a $5 3Racing fan (junk) and a $10 yeah racing fan (pretty good, especially for the price). Yet am looking for something that pushes more air than the Yeah Racing fan. Maybe a fan that pushes cold Freon or something through it (okay, that was a joke).
