Take a look at the new 35 amp matched SMC packs. I've been running them week in and week out and they still have great punch and make runtime. The higher amperage matching seems to single out the bad cells so you dont end up getting cells that will burn out after a few runs.

Check out Hurricane cells.

Brad Johnson (owner) is a racer and supports racers with a great product.

I have been more than happy with the cells I got from Brad this past fall. Good punch; tons of runtime = DAMN GOOD CELLS in my book.

Check them out below:

it's on Ebay...and it's cheapbatterypacks.com

I got two packs from them. All the cells were just as they advertised - 1.65/1.66ish each.

They make for great inexpensive pro-level practice packs, or good club racing packs.

Of course having a couple "on fire" packs for the mains is always a good thing.

For competition batts though, Promatch is hard to beat. I just picked up a loose 6-cell 1.71 pack for $38.00 @ my LHS.

Alberto,
I wish I had the money to buy some batteries myself. But as of now I think Pro-Match batteries are the best.

Look:
http://www.promatchracing.com/main.htm

Only $36 for a 1.17+, great deal!
