have you ever Vs'ed a gas car in a drag race

i did today with my friends
hes got a 710 with a sirio 5 port running 20%
i got a cuda r2 with a 9 turn hara evolution and fukuyama (3300)

1st run he got my because i wheel spun to much power
2rd run i got him every went to plan i accelerated slower and got him by 5 car lenghts(rc cars)
3rd run hes car was running hard so i had to do something good so.... i accelerated that hard that i split my derlin outdrives in half (common problem ) LOL it was fun but running my mates

also for it to work to scale the drag stirp must me 40 meters long
