Try and pickup a second hand GT7 or something like that, shouldnt cost you a lot and its a good speedo, the guys who have to have the top gear will have ditched it for the GTx now but theres no difference except size really.

My recommendation will work for LRP and Novak..not sure on the other brands because I am unaware of their customer service and repair. But buy a used Quantum 1 or Quantum 2 on ebay. The more beat up it is the cheaper it will be. Who cares as long as it works. Take the ESC and send it to Associated. Tell them you want the ESC looked over and brought back to 100% operational condition. Tell them you want a new case and the entire unit re-wired. This service should only coast you about $20.00 plus shipping. When you get the ESC's back, it will look and operate as brand new. Heck, you will be able to sell it on ebay again for much more than you have into it!
