the most frustrating thing about max racing releasing this car is the lack of pictures!!!!

somebody in the marketing department needs to go back to school!!! i've seen this car at online shops about 5 months or so ago, and still can't get a decent pic.

It looks like a 414 on Xray steroids. Some pretty interesting features, would have bene an impressive car if it had been released 5 years ago.

probably drives exactly like one, the chassis looks alot skinnier width wise.

also are the diffs the labrynth style xray diffs or are they open type like the tamiyas so all the dirt gets in em?

shocks look good

It's the best $229.00 car you can buy new. Diffs come out with I think four screws. Shocks are identical to tamiya. The chassis was narrowed' meaning the batteries sit closer together than the414 and the xray. Batteries and electronics were moved slighty forward for more steering. If you look at the front axels. Their different colors. The black one actually tightens counter clock wise with a reversed screw. Supposed to keep the screw from backing out. The car is pretty stiff. The only problem I've heard of so far is, the diffs were getting crunchy in mod. racing. Stock and 19turn were no problem. The car has been out for awhile now. If you would like to get one, you can buy it thru Modesto hobby & crafts in california # 209-529-7310.

How's that?

Btw, the front one-way from the Tamiya TA04 fits, so if there'sa spool for the TA04 it should fit as well.

Enjoy..

I forgot to mention that the 414 pulley gears will also fit.

sounds pretty much like a chassis upgrade for either the 414 or the xray...

how about frequent replacement parts where can you get them? Belt, Arms, shock towers, etc
