Batteries were the new revtech, CRC and the new EAmotorsports batteries. Stock motor I would say the D3.5 was what most people were running

Had a great time as usual at the 2012 IIC. Scotty and the crew did an amazing job and the race went off without any noticeable issues. The racing was really close in every class and the quality of drivers was stunning. The track did not groove up quite as much as I have seen in recent years, but still provided a great surface for some great racing. It was cool to see the new Yokomo cars, Arc10, and the new Xray T4 in action. Ronald was amazing to watch and he drove his BD7 butter smooth. Glad I was apart of this great race...looking forward to the next IIC.

I had a great time at my first IIC, it definitely lived up to its reputation. The competition was insane, and the pits provided plenty of entertainment.

It was my first IIC this year and I will surely be back for years to come. Thanks to everyone for making it such a great event. Now, when are signups for next year and what bodies can we run in specGT?

This was my first big carpet race(other than the ROAR Nats this year) and indeed, it lived up to its reputation....

The number of entries seemed just about perfect to me. We wrapped things up at a reasonable hour almost every day, and actually had time to wrench in the pits before the ballroom was shutdown. The track layout was super fast and flowing, and made for some great racing as there were plenty of opportunities to execute a pass. It made for some pretty spectacular finishes in the mains. Great to watch.

The competition was pretty ridiculous, even in the classes without huge turnouts. Stock 12th was some of the most fun Ive ever had wheeling a car before... one tap dropped you an entire main. The guys(and girls) that made the show really had their act together.

Tons of fun... Thanks to Scotty and everyone involved in making the IIC happen. Met plenty of new racers and was able to put lots of faces to screen-names. Will definitely be back next year!

Scotty always puts on a great event at the IIC and this time did not disappoint! I had a great time and plan to be there again next year It sure was great not just racing but meeting friends I only get to see at the IIC and meeting new ones that I see here on RC Tech all the time like Brad Palmer and Charles Lightfoot. Glad to have finally been able to meet you guys face to face.

Next time, you need to request that the girl be in sandals, not heels.
Finally... a trophy girl well worth being called a trophy girl...

Dawson Haynes interaction was worth the entry fee alone.

I still say she thought the racing was really something. At least that's what I think she had to be texting about during the mains.

It's just like what I tell people who wander into my local and take in the sights, this racing will only ever be as cool to you as you think it is the first second you see it. It cant be taught.

On hindsight, somebody should have given the girl a go with one of their cars after the main was over, like they did for the guy who made the Carpet Racers documentary (worth watching).
