Our block of rooms is good until Sept 10th! You must make your reservations by then to get the special rate and booked in the remodeled section of the hotel.

It never fails every year I get many calls on the last day, Scotty please help me get the rate for the room. I forgot to call. Can you still get the discount.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Still Bill, but it looks like this year, you're "THAT GUY". Hope you can make it anyway.

HI everyone,

Are we there yet. Time for the IIC is drawing closer and I get more excited as each day passes.

Wanted to give some class breakdowns and hopefully get some more guys into some of the classes. Entries are about what we were last year pre event but like normal we will have many additional entries here in the coming weeks.

MODIFIED SEDAN: 14
SUPER STOCK SEDAN :25
STOCK SEDAN : 52
AMATEUR: 47
MOD 1/12TH: 15
13.5 1/12: 25
STOCK 1/12TH: 40
XWGT: 10
WGT: 25
F-1: 12
SPEC GT: 12

Some classes are strong and some are light. Adding additional entries is no problem but it just helps us if you can do it pre event, so I can ensure we have enough awards for each class.

If you want to add additional class, just please let us know and we can help.

Great news. STILL BILL IS GOING TO MAKE IT! Well maybe!

For the Spec GT. I will have a FDR posted tomorrow.

Menu is set for the Drivers meeting Buffet on Monday night. We will go with the Western Buffet.

Beef Brisket
BBQ Chicken Breast.
2 types of Salad
Cole Slaw
Baked Beans
Twice Baked Potatoes
Corn on the Cob
Corn Bread
3 types of pies for desert
Cobbler.

Lots of good eats for everyone and they wont run out of food even with our group of weight conscience and healthy racers.

We are all looking forward to seeing everyone in just a couple of weeks for another fun time in Vegas at the IIC.

Thanks
Scotty

Big turnout in Amateur this year...

Let's fill up those pan-car classes.

Seattle kicks off our season opener this Sat night, then it's both barrels trained on the IIC. I can definitely feel the "buzz".

The a55 software is legal for the VTX1 and VTX10 speed controls. I fat fingered the keyboard when putting the list together.

We need more Mod entries, it can't just be me and the pros, cuz I know I cant keep up with the guys who have won IFMARs and there will probably be a half-dozen of those already signed up

Hey: thanks for the info. Since I'm not going I didn't pay much attention to the schedule. Makes sense though with Sunday being a day off for most. Thanks

The Gold IIC Poker Bracelet has been ordered but who will be the victor? . We have 25 Entries for the IIC Poker Tournament this year that will be held Sunday night to Kick off the 2012 IIC.
Last year it was Rob Flowers who was the man that took home the bracelet and all the cash. Year 1 victor Paul Lemieux was not able to attend the Poker Tournament last year because of scheduling conflicts or maybe he was just scared of Boomer! We will see if he has the intestinal fortitude to show up this year and see if he can take his title back from Flowers.

The tournament is open to all IIC participants and family members. It will be held in the Riviera Poker area around 7pm.

Remember at year 1 of the tournament when the Fabulous Barry Baker brought his shades and his poker magazine and was looking like Phil Hellmuth ready to dominate but came up short. Man I miss having Barry at the races, He was always worth something. A great race, a laugh or maybe a bit of Drama. There will always be only 1 Barry Baker!

Remember the years of Mod Foam, Crazy fast. Mad Traction. Those were crazy times for sure.

Calandra picking up the trophy girl and we thought she was going to hit him.
Ahhh good times.

I am just thinking back to all the great times and memories we have had in the past 7 years of the IIC and we are looking forward to making more memories in year 8.

Good food, Free Beer, Great times and some of the best racing in the world. That is what the IIC is all about. And of course... IT IS IN VEGAS BABY!!

I received a couple of emails today from guys who have just now been able to clear their schedule to join us, so if you have been thinking about attending. Pull the trigger, or the slot arm depending, and make the trip to Vegas. I know the guy in charge and he can get you entered.

Thanks,
Scotty

If the carpet was down in the ballroom I'd be there too.

Any idea when the registration and pit selection processes will start on Monday the first? We have to drive up from SoCal and we want to TQ registration.
