I pitted across from a guy running amateur a couple years ago who was asked to cover up or remove a sticker from his body. When I paint my amateur bodies, the only stickers I use are for the headlights, grill and taillights.

As far as shirts and hats go, the only RC related hats you are allowed to wear are the event shirt you get when you check in and IIC hats that have been available at the race the last couple years. Your shirts don't have to be completely free of graphics. The just can't be RC related. At least, that is what Scotty has told me in years past.

Red Bull may be a bit of a stretch. I'm not aware of Red Bull supporting the RC industry, but that doesn't mean they haven't. It's difficult to find a sporting event the doesn't have their logo plastered on it. Seems like they have their hands in just about everything these days.

If you think that your body may be questionable for amateur, you can always send a picture to Scotty via email for final judgement.

My only sponsor is my wife. Would I get DQ'd for showing up with this shirt?

It's gonna smell real funky after a week. I'm totally not washing it in protest.

Is your wife going with you? If not that shirt will get you plenty of attention from the homeless strippers.

After much hard work and searching, I would like to announce the spec tire for the F-1 class. We will be using Pardus tires. These tires are Manufactured by Rick Wang father of JJ Wang. Just so everyone understands the problems I had in finding a Spec Tire.

In the F-1 class there is no set standard for rims and tires. Each company has their own style of rim and tire and this is what has made the process difficult. We needed a tire and rim that would work on all chassis types. I am sorry it took so long, but happy to have worked out a solution.

The Pardus tires have been run in Asia and are a very good tire. These tires will have good life and provide great traction. These tires are available for sale from F-1 Paint Lab for those that want to get some to do testing. Here is the link to their online store.

http://f1paintlab.mybigcommerce.com/...for-f103-f104/

Just like in all other handout classes. You will receive 1 set with your entry and others will be available for purchase at the race. Only tires received or purchased from the IIC will be allowed to race.

I thank you for your patience as I worked through this situation and look forward to seeing everyone in Vegas for another fun IIC.

Thanks,
Scotty

Thanks Larry, I was very curious about RROC shirts. Time for plan B.

Just see any of the AZ boys about the homeless stripper. I was only trying to hook her up with Big White but some how at end of the night she was jumping into my bed. Pushed her off to our buddy Ray but he had her crying all night. Be nice next time Ray. My GF said no strippers this year so have to figure out something else to do in Vegas.
