Any final decisions on F1 specs ?
It's obvious IRS will be a no no, but what about turn buckle front end links ?
I've got no problem changing but just want to know if I need to change...

never mind... just read that Scotty is busy

Looks like the website is still down though... yes it is indoor, carpet, 1/10th touring cars, 1/10th F1 cars, and 1/12th pan cars.
Hopefully the intchamps website will be working again soon.

Does anybody know how many touring car classes there will be? Open Modified, Blinky Spec, Rubber Tire (is there a controlled tire)? Hopefully we will be allowed more than just 2 sets of tires for the event. The whole tire fiasco at the Ifmar World Championships was depressing.

For TC there is amateur 17.5 (no sponsorships, handout motor, spec tire)
Stock 17.5 blinky, handout tire
Superstock 13.5 blinkly handout tire
Mod handout tire

I don't believe there is a tire limit of any kind, but even if there was, indoor carpet is much easier on tires, spec tire is Jaco blue.

For such a big event, I am stunned that they cant get a website back up and running in 2+ weeks. What other event/business would be OK with that going on?

Scotty is out of the country right now at the Worlds so I'm sure he is too busy to deal with the web site issue right now.

It is actually the host that screwed it over. Needless to say they are not the host anymore. It won't be much longer.

the worlds were over Saturday I was back from Holland last night and stayed an extra day. so unless he's still hanging out in Europe he should be home by now. I think I would of been on the email trying to get it fixed last week as I know that is what happens when my www.rc50.com site goes down. and I don't make money off mine. if I did I would make sure it was up and running. plus that's what he has people for...

And I imagine he has a lot of things to get caught up on, the web site being one of them...Sometimes it take more than a day to get these things sorted out.

i really don't think Scotty is going to turn away racers (no matter how much I might suggest class entry limits )

maybe he just needs to 'outsource' his IT work to someone. maybe there could be a race entry barter system

After last year Scotty pretty much said that he didn't think more entries than last would be good. So I bet there is a cap.
