I don't think those are considered racing kits at all by Tamiya. The racing car customers have the TB and 41x cars, the model car fans have the rest. Just a theory!

I'm here at the track and the owner came in after talking to RC America and he said that they told him to tell his customers that it was a graphite supply issue. but then the rc amercia guys said that the t1fk is discontinued and will no longer be available. his peved and will not be a part of lying to customers.

Im glad they have a new car...by now everyone knows it.....I really dont understand why they wanna just keep playing games about it instead of just saying whats up....its not a good way to treat loyal customers...or create new ones....if its gonna be march..or whenever...just say so

Guys, take it easy. RC America knows there is a new car coming and they are trying to do their best to be politically correct about it. Keep in ind they don't want to hurt their own sales by telling everyone and their brother there's a new car so quit buying the current one! I can understand that! You have to put yourselves in their place.

Plus, there's nothing set in stone about what exactly will be changed or otherwise from the prototype car, not to mention what options (diffs, oneway, chassis thickness etc) will come with it. They don't want to give false information. Yes there's a new car, no they don't expect to get anymore FK's and yes it probably will be March. I believe late February was just hopeful thinking. Keep in mind that even after they are shipped, they have to clear customs and then they have to be checked in, etc.

Burch and the guys are doing the best they can with what they have, so cut them a little slack, and remember that Xray continues to make parts for every car they have produced and have continued to improve the cars with every update.

You cant hurt the sales on cars you dont have to sell, so I cant see that having anything to do with this...I dont think Ralph or RC America has any thing to do with what they can say.....they are waiting till xray lets them know what to say....my only point was....its not a secret any more
