with the PF Mustang, for the TC7 series ...I added about 5mm shims under the front body post, along with longer screws. I didnt think the McA Stang needed shims
My used TC7.1 came with body posts that were longer than the kit posts, so the PF Mustang and the PF TransAm fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I don't know what posts they are. Wish I did since several people have asked me about them as their AE posts are too short for several bodies. Shims underneath or a spacer sounds like a good idea. Thanks.

I run the PF Mustang and have been using AE Pan Car posts. AE#8522. I have to trim the bottom of posts into a small hexagon shape as the TC6.2 that I run has hex shaped slots in the bottom plate.

AE #31625 also works for me. I realize I am running 6.2's, but I hope this gives you some ideas.

PM me if you have questions. GOOD LUCK!
The #8522's look like they might work pretty well, but yeah, I'd have to cut a hex on the bottom to fit the bottom plate. Those look like the best I've seen so far aside from the X-Ray and Duratrax posts which don't have the hex either. I was hoping that AE had a longer set that maybe I hadn't seen yet. Oh well. Thanks!

The pan car posts stick up quite a bit. The only drawback is making the hex. Keep in mind it does not have to be perfect. It seems to me that HPI made a set of posts and wings back in the day, but I don,t know if they are still available.

Hey JC3. Google HPI body posts. There are about 6 or 7 that come up. I think I have used HPI85032 in the past, but check out the others on A-Main and Tower Hobbies.

I’m curious as to the need to cut the hex into the bottom? I never worried about it and never had body post spin on me once tightened. In fact not having them allowed me to put the body pins at an angle that was better than what the hex would allow

Those HPI's are interesting with the hex on the bottom. Thanks.

I guess just for the added rigidity/strength/position retention. As a relative newb that still hits things, and one that runs with a rough (for fun) VTA crowd, I need it! Otherwise, perhaps you're right, they aren't really needed.

Trimming the bottom of post works best for me. I guess it's one of those to each his own things.

I ended up using a screw to secure my Tamiya guy into the car (things get rough at our track lol)

Default Trinity/Revtech 25.5

Can anyone provide a link to the approval for this motor? I've heard people SAY it's been approved, but I'm having trouble finding the approval.
Thanks.

Thanks.
The Revtech X-Factor 25.5 brushless motor has passed ROAR inspection, and I have submitted the results to ROAR.

The inspection is just one of several items that is used by ROAR to determine if approval is given; the motor is not approved until ROAR adds it to their list.
